There Are Lives That Only You Can Touch

“Because your existence in time and space is unique, there are lives that only you can touch.”

WOWZA!!!! That message really hit home, soul deep, for me… I felt the resonance of it when I first read it and recognized how very true it is.  We are each created with purpose and unique potential. This message and image conveyed it for me in a powerful way unlike few other posts or pieces I’ve encountered.  It struck home on a very energetic, pure inner level for me ~  bypassing ego or anything else that might have wanted to question my significance.

This message and image originally came to my attention when Marilyn Hager’s Facebook post was shared by my dear friend Audrey. I then humbly borrowed the image and offered it on our Conscious Connections NOW community page. It was heartfully received by many, and it prompted a dialogue this morning that felt very important to share. I asked my friend LeeAnne if I might quote her so that I could offer this conversation here. She kindly and immediately said, “Of course.”

I am so deeply thankful for conscious aware connections with people and the way we are each supporting one another in awakening to our truth, meaning, contributions and potential in life. I believe our conversation will ‘hit home in you. This is something we all feel at times and sometimes too often… Here is this morning’s conversation:

LeeAnne Fontana Montes  ~  Often times, I think people wonder if they really make a difference in the world. When you bring it down to such a personal level, it really changes how you answer that.
I’m never going to be Mother Teresa, but any time I make someone smile, or do a kindness, I touch the life of someone who might not have had that moment if I hadn’t been there.

LeeAnne’s open self-aware message brought forth  my own soulful reply.

  DeAnne Wolfgram ~~ So often people discount their own contributions believing them to be insignificant or at least not substantially important… THIS really struck me when I read it realizing that we may never know our impact on the world at large through the people we touch, but our seemingly small contributions are really and truly THE BIG stuff of Life. We are doing The Great Work in the purest of personal ways. IMAGINE a world where everyone was this aware of their PRESENCE and brought this level of BEINGness to living every day. That’s the world we are creating.


  • I agree. I’ll never be Mother Teresa. Her soul signature isn’t mine, but The Way she went about her work in the world IS the model for us all. She focused on one person at a time, the one right there with her – the one whose heart called to hers. That IS what the masters each demonstrated.

    I witness your mastery honey. The world needs you the way you are. The world needs us all and what we uniquely bring.  Love

This moment and this precious sacred image called to be shared in honor of this Easter weekend 2014.

This remains one of my favorite images from my glorious divine feminine journey through France in 2012. I will never forget my solo sojourn through St. Sulpice in Paris, France days after walking in Magdalene’s footsteps.

I could sit and gaze upon this beautiful Pieta for hours… So much stirs of Beloved Love, Divine Union and a Sacred Lineage…. It is mesmerizing to behold.

The Divine Feminine ONE is gentle yet fiercely loving… She is having HER way with us and through us.

She comes in many forms through wise, wondrous and wild ways…

The BELOVED has seeded us, and we are so very fertile now… We are ripe with the fruit of our own Longing and Union. Such divine births are continuously coming Now….

We in turn are birthing all our own creations… We are midwives to ONE another Now…. and to many more.

WE ARE BIRTHING HER, each of us, through us.

I began to hear it as the Beloved singing to me, for me.
LISTEN.  Imagine the Divine conveying every word and each feeling just for You. ❤

That, that is how unconditionally we are truly loved. Wow…. I will be walking through the world today feeling that Truth more deeply. Love to you all, D*

As bright as the light on the Luxor

I woke up this morning on the final 13th of 2013, or more precisely the final Friday the 13th of 2013, with a very insistent image in my mind. Again and again as I tried to doze, I kept seeing the bright spotlight of the Luxor Hotel in my mind’s eye.

And then, I was reminded of something I hadn’t thought of in quite a while, one of the best compliments of my life.

In 1994 at the conclusion of a personal growth seminar, an aquaintance came up to me and gave me that gift. He was a fireman I knew of from my husband’s fire department, but we did not know one another well. As everyone was exchanging expressions of gratitude and goodbyes, this man looked me in the eyes with an immense expression of awe.

He took my hand and with a wonder and emphasis to his voice said,

“YOU are as bright as the light on the Luxor!”

Needless to say, I was stunned and humbled at his remark. It has stayed with me ever since. I saw him again this year, twenty years later and told him that he had given me the best compliment of my life. He blushed and smiled. I gave him a huge hug.

I’ve lived in the Las Vegas/Henderson Valley for 36 of my 43 years of life.  For the past twenty years, I have had various moments of driving at night and finding myself captivated by the luminous light of our landmark Luxor.  Those words speak to me yet again, “You are as bright as the light on the Luxor.”

I’m still humbled by that, yet many, many times it has empowered me.
It’s beam is brilliant, radiant, powerful and can be seen throughout the valley, and at times even from space. I hope that I may say at the end of my life that I managed to shine my light as brightly as that.

Waking to this very insistent image and hearing these words again this morning, more began to stir within me. Scenes of synchronous moments in my life came to the forefront and inspiring visions I’ve had over the years. I feel them beginning to align, to clarify and to point the way for me, much like that glorious beam of light.

Today, I’m reminded to shine my own light brightly without hiding or dulling it and to encourage others to do the same.

Afterall, we are all truly luminous, “as bright as the light on the Luxor.”

At the time that Princess Diana and Mother Teresa passed from this world, I was living with cancer of the womb. I was aware of the legacy of love and the empowerment of mothering that these women represented at the very time that I was letting go of birthing more children.  There was a soulful feeling of significance for me then.  I continue to feel it. To this very day, I feel a calling to “spread love” everywhere I can. ~ DeAnne
